We did it!

I have been meaning to post this for a couple weeks. Danny and I went on a date with no babies. It was sad because we didn't know what to do because it has been so long since we could just go and do anything without making sure it was a baby friendly environment. So we went to RC Willey and bought a freezer. Sounds exciting doesn't it? Then we went and got a Jamba Juice. We got home and the babysitter had put the boys to bed. We had put Anna to bed before we left. Wow! What a good night.

We had such a good time that time that we decided to try again. We went on Wednesday night (before Thanksgiving) and got all of our Christmas shopping done. It was great! I was so happy to have that done. I didn't realize how hard that would be to think of things for the boys and Anna.

Last but not least, I made my first pecan pie. Danny loves pecan pie and so I made it for him. It looked beautiful! Unfortunately, it didn't taste as good as it looked. Better luck next year!

Something else we did this week is we went to the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake. It was so fun. We were only about 15 feet away from a Bald Eagle and two Golden Eagles. They were not enclosed either.  We saw all kinds of birds. I will post pictures later.

Wow! Congratulations. Isn't great to have a little alone time again. So sorry to hear about Anna's ears. I'm sure that will put a little kink in her schedule for awhile. Go figure. Isn't that the way it always is?
